The Free Range Pickers will be heading west to the plains, The Plains, Ohio, that is–to the stage at Eclipse Company Store. The Free Range Pickers focus on classic Western Swing music, a blend of country, jazz, blues, and swing–aptly described as “jazz with a cowboy hat.” If you like the idea of country music with a jazz flair, you will enjoy the music of The Free Range Pickers. The 6-piece line-up features John Borchard on steel guitar with the twin fiddle sounds of Julia Farver and Mark Burhans. Chris Ridgway sings and picks the Telecaster, and Jonathan Sowers and Ken Dean hold down that solid rhythm and bass. More about the Free Range Pickers.
